This is one very funny and very bright lady!! Gina Wynbrandt's book is like the graphic version of a standup comedian's performance. A very funny one. It's self-deprecating and edgy and, it makes the reader lol! Women identify and men are surprised but everyone gets it--Ms. Wynbrandt definitely gets it. This author is not just a damn good artist, she has her drawing fingers on the pulse of today's happening and sees its kinky humor as well as its silliness. I want to see more of her stuff. You won't regret getting this book, I promise. This is the funniest comic book I read in ages! There were points where I had to stop reading to catch my breath. I cannot wait for this amazing author's sequel. This should really have more of a cult following in the indie comic book arena. BUY TODAY!Gina Wynbrandt does not disappoint with her crazy self-deprecating humor and her cool awesome artwork! She has her finger on the pulse of what is happening now in the media and has no problem giving it the finger! Everyone will identify with something in her balls out tales! LOVE IT!I read this with my best friend. Both a quick read and an art object. Beautifully risographed pages add to the charm. Adorable funny and overall self deprecating. Lives up to the hype. If you're thinking about it, just buy it.This is a nice indie comics collection of a few shorts. Buyers should be aware that it is about half standard comic size though.I feel like I owe her more money since I've had about 7 friends read in the week I've had it. Hilarious. So good! Hilarious, compelling, a little bit real and raw and even bittersweet at times. One of my favorites.Gina doesn't take herself too seriously and she's funny as hell.I lost count of the amount of times I burst out laughing at this book. Cringe inducing at times but never cruel and the protagonist is totally loveable in spite of page after page of wrong-headed evidence. Needed a magnifying glass though, the book should have been printed at least 50% bigger as the art is 10/10 but the lettering tiny, tiny, tiny. One of the funniest indie comics I can remember. This collection of Gina Wynbrandt's first 4 self-published comics has a healthy dose of the surreal and will take you places that most (semi) autobiographical comics don't dare, such as the consequences of inter-species mating with a feral cat, and what's actually inside Kim Ks big butt - Chris Ware doesn't teach you stuff like this.I had imagined it being a larger format. Other than that, no complaints. This comic is completely accurate to my life, its scary. Gina really gets what its like to be young and desperate and raised on the internet. I laughed almost the entire time I was reading it. I highly recommend this funnyass enjoyable read.
